Compare

Catchevo compared to Honey, Camelcamelcamel, Google Shopping, Klarna and every other shopping app you know.

An honest, side-by-side breakdown of how Catchevo differs from the nine shopping tools most people already use. Google sends you links. Catchevo does the clicking for you and sends back a single overview of verified, real-time results: the same product cheaper, in your size, in stock, and from stores that have been checked for legitimacy. It is the only shopping app that searches hundreds of stores on demand for your exact product, including small specialty shops and local retailers most search engines never surface. Refurbished and pre-owned can be included if you want, every retailer is verified before you ever see it, and you only get charged when Catchevo actually saves you money.

The category in one paragraph

Online shopping has a gap. You see something you want, and the moment you decide to buy it, the work begins. Is the price right? Is your size in stock? Could a local store have it cheaper? Is there a valid coupon? Different tools solve different pieces of this. Honey applies coupon codes at checkout from a curated database of submitted codes. Camelcamelcamel and Keepa track price history on Amazon. Rakuten, Capital One Shopping, and Karma earn cashback from a fixed list of partner retailers. Google Shopping, Idealo, and PriceRunner show feed-based price comparisons across retailers. Klarna's AI shopping search runs on Klarna's own merchant catalog. Catchevo does something none of these do: it runs a real-time hunt for the exact product you want across hundreds of stores, including small specialist shops and local retailers, captures any live coupon visible on the product page at the moment of the hunt so the code is current, verifies each result before sending it, and stays independent because the user pays us, not the retailer.

The four things only Catchevo does

Across the nine competitors below, no other shopping tool delivers all four of these at once. This is what makes Catchevo a different category, not a different brand.

1

Catchevo does the clicking for you

Normally when you search for a product, you get a list of links. You have to click each one, compare prices, check sizes, see if it's in stock, and figure out which shops you can trust. Catchevo takes that work off your hands. Set a catch on any product, and Catchevo runs a real-time hunt across hundreds of retailers at once, opens every relevant page in the background, and brings back a single overview: same product cheaper, in your size, in stock, with any live coupon attached. Most catches return within 30 minutes. Camelcamelcamel and Keepa only crawl Amazon. Honey applies coupon codes from its database at checkout, not across other stores. Karma polls retailer pages every 4 to 6 hours per its own documentation. Google Shopping and Idealo rebuild from retailer feeds. Catchevo is the only one searching for the exact product you asked about, the moment you asked, and handing back one screen instead of fifty tabs.

2

Every result verified before it reaches you

Before Catchevo sends a notification, it verifies the price is still valid, the size is still in stock, and the retailer is legitimate via ScamAdviser. The competitors in this comparison rely on data from their last crawl or feed update. Whether that data is still current when you receive the alert depends on how often the crawl runs and how fast the retailer's price or stock changes. Catchevo re-checks at the moment of the catch, so the result is current when it lands.

3

Refurbished, pre-owned, and local shops included by default

Catchevo includes refurbished and pre-owned options in every catch because it is better for your wallet and better for the planet. If you only want new products, you can switch this off in Settings under Sustainable Shopping. Catchevo also surfaces smaller marketplaces, specialist shops, and local retailers that do not pay for advertising on Google Shopping or sell on Amazon, which is precisely why their prices can be lower. These competitors are oriented around new-goods catalogs. Honey, Rakuten, Capital One Shopping, Karma, Camelcamelcamel, and Keepa do not surface refurbished or pre-owned alternatives by default.

4

You only pay when we actually save you money

A catch credit is only charged when the saving meets a published threshold: 10 percent on products under 100, 8 percent up to 500, 6 percent up to 1,000, and 5 percent above. If Catchevo finds something cheaper but below the threshold, the result is sent for free and your catch is refunded. If we confirm you are already at the best price out there, no catch credit is charged either. It is effectively a free price check, and you can buy with confidence. If you still want to wait and see, you can switch on monitoring for 7 or 30 days on the original product page, and Catchevo will watch for a price drop or a restock. No competitor in this comparison has a fairness mechanic like this. Honey, Rakuten, Capital One Shopping, and Karma earn affiliate revenue regardless of whether they actually saved you money.

Start a catch from anywhere you shop

Catchevo is built to fit the way you already shop. You don't have to come to a single search box, and you don't have to interrupt what you're doing.

From any website

If you're browsing the web on your phone and you land on a product page anywhere, tap the share button, scroll to the Catchevo tile, and the product loads in the Catchevo app, ready for you to set a price catch or a stock catch. It takes seconds.

From any shopping app

The same thing works from inside other shopping apps. Land on a product page in Amazon, Vinted, Zalando, eBay, anywhere. Tap share. Pick Catchevo. The product opens in the Catchevo app ready to catch. You never have to leave the app you were already shopping in to start a catch.

From inside the Catchevo app

If you prefer, the Catchevo app has its own built-in browser. You can also take a photo of a product you saw in real life, or upload an image from your photo library, and Catchevo will identify the product and find it across hundreds of stores.

The full comparison matrix

Ten shopping tools rated across eight dimensions. Catchevo is the only product with verified results across every column.

vs Camelcamelcamel

Catchevo vs Camelcamelcamel

vs Keepa

Catchevo vs Keepa

Keepa is the most powerful Amazon-only price tracker on the market, with detailed charts and a 15-minute refresh on most listings. vs Google Shopping

Catchevo vs Google Shopping

Frequently asked questions

The questions people most often ask when comparing Catchevo to other shopping tools.

Does Catchevo show coupons?

Yes, but in a different way than Honey. If a coupon is visible on a retailer's product page during the live hunt, Catchevo captures it and includes it in the catch result. Because the coupon is pulled directly from the live retailer page at the moment of the search, the code is current when the catch is delivered. Coupon databases like Honey can include entries that are no longer active. Catchevo only shows you coupons that are visible on the product page at the moment of the hunt.

Why do some Honey coupons sometimes fail at checkout while Catchevo coupons work?

The difference is where the coupon comes from. Honey maintains a database of coupon codes submitted over time, and tries each one at checkout. Independent reporting (MegaLag, December 2025) found that a portion of Honey's catalogued codes were marked expired in its own database. Catchevo doesn't maintain a coupon database. It captures coupons that appear live on a retailer's product page during the real-time hunt, so the code is active at the moment Catchevo finds it.

Is Catchevo the same as Honey?

No. Honey is a checkout coupon extension that activates on the retailer page you are already on, applying coupon codes when you are about to pay. Catchevo is a search engine for the product you want, running across hundreds of other stores at the same time, returning a verified cheaper option, your size, or a restock from a different retailer. Honey works inside one store. Catchevo works across all of them.

How is Catchevo different from Camelcamelcamel and Keepa?

Camelcamelcamel and Keepa are Amazon-only price history trackers. They only show you how the price has moved on Amazon and alert you when it drops below your target on Amazon. Catchevo searches every store, not just Amazon, so it can find the same product cheaper at a different retailer. Catchevo also verifies the result before the notification is sent, so the price, size, and stock are still valid when you receive the catch.

Does Catchevo work on Amazon?

Yes. Amazon is one of the hundreds of stores Catchevo searches. The difference is that Catchevo does not stop at Amazon. It checks every other retailer in parallel, including smaller marketplaces and specialist shops that may sell the same product for less.

Is Catchevo paid by retailers? Will the results be biased?

No. Catchevo is paid by the user, not the retailer. There is no affiliate commission, no sponsored placement, and no retailer can pay to appear higher in the results. Catchevo shows every store where the product was found, and the user picks where to buy. Unlike Honey, Rakuten, Capital One Shopping, and Karma, Catchevo has no financial incentive to direct the user to one retailer over another.

Will Catchevo charge me if it does not find a real saving?

No. Catchevo only charges a catch credit when the saving meets a published threshold. The threshold is 10 percent for products under 100, 8 percent for products between 100 and 500, 6 percent for products between 500 and 1,000, and 5 percent for products above 1,000. If Catchevo finds something cheaper but the saving is below the threshold, the result is sent for free and the catch credit is refunded.

What happens if Catchevo confirms I am already at the best price?

You get peace of mind, free. If the catch comes back and the product you were looking at is already the best available across hundreds of stores, no catch credit is charged. It is effectively a free price check, and you can buy with confidence. If you still want to wait and see whether the price drops further or stock returns, you can switch on monitoring for 7 or 30 days on the original product page, and Catchevo will watch it for you.

Does Catchevo verify that the retailer is safe?

Yes. Every retailer in a catch result is checked through ScamAdviser before the notification is sent. Catchevo will never direct you to an unverified or unsafe website. This is the difference between Catchevo and most price comparison sites, which list any retailer that feeds them product data.

Does Catchevo include refurbished and pre-owned products?

Yes, by default. Catchevo includes refurbished and pre-owned options in every catch result. It is better for your wallet and better for the planet. Honey, Rakuten, Capital One Shopping, Karma, Camelcamelcamel, and Keepa do not surface refurbished or pre-owned alternatives by default. You can toggle this off in Settings under Sustainable Shopping if you only want new products.

Does Catchevo find smaller and local shops?

Yes. Catchevo specifically searches smaller marketplaces, specialist shops, and local retailers that do not advertise on Google Shopping or sell on Amazon. These shops often have lower prices precisely because they are not paying advertising or marketplace fees. Catchevo is the only major shopping tool that surfaces them in the same result list as the big retailers.

Does Catchevo do real-time price checks?

Yes. When you set a catch, Catchevo runs a hunt across hundreds of stores on demand. Most catches return within 30 minutes. This is different from Camelcamelcamel, Keepa, and Karma, which rely on scheduled data refreshes that range from every 15 minutes (Keepa) to every 4 to 6 hours (Karma), depending on the platform.

Is Catchevo free?

Catchevo gives 5 free catches on signup, valid for 90 days. After that, catches are purchased in packs. You are only charged a catch credit when the saving meets the published threshold. If no real saving is found, your catch credit is refunded.

Stop browsing. Start buying.
